I forgot my homework. What is it?
Actually, that’s exactly what the blog was designed for. On the right hand side of the main page (from here, just click the button that says ‘Home‘), under the categories drop down menu, select your class. All the posts that are filed under your class – and your homework assignments – will pop up.

OMG! I lost / my dog ate / can’t find / didn’t do my homework.
The reason I give homework is to see where you are, but it’s also about practicing personal responsibility. If your work is late (and unexcused), you will be my guest after school to complete it, for a maximum grade of a B. If you need transportation, we can arrange for you to complete the work during ESS, which provides a bus home.

I was absent. Did I miss anything?
Yes. You can find out what you missed in two ways: by searching for assignments filed under your class using the category method listed above, or (if you were absent a long time ago) by clicking on the date in the calendar that’s on the right hand side of the page. However, even if it was an excused absence, you only have three days to turn in missing assignments before it becomes a zero in the grade book.

I can’t figure out how to post on the blog. What should I do?
That’s a good question! You have several options. You can email me, or write down your assignment (on plain ‘ole pen and paper; I won’t mind) and turn it in during class.

Some of the pictures on the blog don’t show up while I’m at school.
Yup, because the school has blocked Flickr, which is where some of my pictures are hosted.
