Task
Create a PowerPoint to teach your fellow students about your Supreme Court case. Make your presentation visually interesting so that your fellow students will not be inclined to fall asleep, please. Your PowerPoint must include at a minimum:
- The Facts (2 slides minimum)
What are the facts of the case? What important information will the Supreme Court consider? State the facts in your own words. Do not plagiarize. - The Issue (1 slide)
What is the problem that the Supreme Court is trying to answer? This should be phrased in a yes or no question. - The Decision (1 slide)
What was the answer to the issue? - The Majority Opinion (2 slide minimum)
Why did the Supreme Court answer the issue the way that it did? Be sure to cite the constitutional section or amendment that the Justices are using for their argument. - The Dissenting or Concurring Opinion (1 slide)
If one is given, describe why a Justice is either dissenting or concurring. What is their reasoning?
