I’ve been seeing a lot of people shopping for back to school supplies, so in case you’re shopping early, I thought I’d post the list here. If you’re in the IT Academy, you’ll be getting an orientation packet with this list soon, and I’ll have printed copies ready at orientation night on August 7. See you soon!

  • Binder – This will remain in my classroom, so this should be for my class only.
  • Five Tab Dividers – For dividing the binder into sections for Daily Work, Notes, Handouts, Projects, and Tests / Quizzes. These must be hole punched for binder use.
  • Looseleaf – All of the daily work section will be done on hole punched looseleaf paper. I will periodically do binder checks to grade daily work.
  • Paper – Either spiral-bound notebooks or looseleaf are fine, but it must be hole punched for binder use. Notebooks are currently available at Walmart for 5ยข.
  • Pens and Pencils – You can use either in my class, but if you use pen, I will only accept work in blue or black ink for assignments. You will need #2 pencils when we take tests and exams.
  • Jump Drive – This is not a requirement, but I highly suggest having one to keep a backup of your school files. We’ll have 1G jump drives for sale at freshman orientation.
